Bean-Related
Nutrition-and-Health Research Conferences
The Beans for Health Alliance (BHA) is uniting bean enthusiasts
and supporters of food-based interventions around the world
to fund research and to promote the health benefits of beans
and other pulses. The BHA is focusing on Latin America and
Africa, vast regions whose populations rely on beans for
daily nourishment.
Funding studies and then organizing and presenting research
findings at professional scientific conferences is one of
the keys to spreading the word about the growing body of
evidence related to the benefits of consumption of dry beans
and other pulses.
